Have you ever seen ANY municipal vehicle pulled over? Because I have.

Photo is timed in that split second when the lights weren't flashing, but I promise you that bus just got pulled over.

Also saw what looked like a f-150 sans bed and front clip. (the owner was in the car so I didn't want to be weird and got closer)

On to the good though .... Belle Isle was essentially deserted on this cold morning, so a couple laps around on a empty track? Yes please. I can't wait for it to start snowing & hooning season to start.

& the ugly: because no post about Detroit is complete without some ruin porn.

Off topic, but I have a friend looking at an 05 Crossfire. I told him I thought they were fun, under appreciated cars, but I want to hear from an owner. He is a car guy, with a 1st gen 4runner that sees a top for 2 months out of the year in Maine...but anything you hate about it?

Yupp, its just the city park 95% of the year. Hot days in the summer its pack, but otherwise its empty a lot of the time, probably because its not really in the city. Either way though, its awesome to have it be a few minute drive away.

Its technically just a road and there are no access fees to get onto belle isle at this point. Soon you will need your state park "recreation passport" once the state takes over the property.

The fun red/white curbs are always there tho!

I love seeing the bus pulled over.

Those guys drive like a-holes sometimes. I feel bad for everyone that's held up who's riding the bus though.

Anything I hate? .... its not a manual. I've only had it since January, and nothing major has broken(only the ashtray), so I don't have any complaints.

Ohh, oil changes are expensive, takes a lot of mobil 1 to keep this thing lubed up. But really I'm having a lot of fun with it and it doesn't hurt that about once a month some random person tells me they like it, or "nice car".

Can't lie about it, between the Auto Show, Belle Isle, good food & beer, nice places like Royal Oak & Gross Pointe, the dream cruise & woodward .... I'm certainly having my share of fun.
